Morning all,

Quick question - how can I get any unread/ responded emails (which look unread) back to the top of their respective folders?

I miss so many replies because gmail tells me I have no unread when I clearly do.

CHeers!

P.S - No, I cannot change mail engine!

The only way I can think of is to select all read messages, and archive them(they will later be able to be found in "All Mail"), and then you will be left with all the unread messages together.

EDIT: Or alternatively:
http://www.gtricks.com/gmail-tricks/sort-gmail-subject-label-sender/
There is no sorting available to sort unread mails first and then read one with a simple operation like in yahoo mail. But you can do two different searches to find all the read and unread mails sorted by date. To search all unread mail, enter “is:unread” in the Gmail searc box. Similarly, enter “is:read” to search for all read mails.
