Anyway, does anyone know how much these guys get paid?
And what the hell do they do at the top? Looks like it's just a light and a small metal thing.

EDIT:

Check this out, page 4 of thread.

I feel so terrified near the last few minutes, which is why I had to post.
No safety equipment and doing that?! It's insane.

The bit that got me was when he's right at the top and looks down. Imagine the adrenaline rush you'd get experiencing that in real life.

My heart jumped every time he looked down.
I'm not to great with heights.

Yeah, it's crazy.

Everytime he climbed up something overhanging the edge, or manoeuvred around a platform, I just couldn't understand how he would remain calm.
It's just...

Also, I'd love to try that. Even though I'm not generally scared of heights, this is ****ing scary, and AWESOME.

They were wearing helmets, harnesses and looked like they were lanyarding so for a tower climb it was all pretty standard safety stuff? Apart from the height...

I think we've misjudged these men of having Balls of the mighty Allah.. Maybe we're being to rash to jump to such a conclusion... B/c they may not actually have balls at all... and therefore having nothing left to live for...

Food for thought.

ha
Just maybe...!

No, whever they were moving they were not connected to anything. It's only when you saw him connect the hook to things he was safe. Otherwise he clipped it to his belt and climbed up [as the narrator also says].

Apparently, they only used the safety gear when it was time to take a break for a couple of minutes.

EDIT^: It's always the guy a few seconds before me who expresses it better.

My palms are actually viciously sweating... I like climbing shit, but once I get above 50 / 100 ft without safety lines, my legs start to tremble.
