I've got an Ibanez S770FM and I've been thinking about replacing the stock pickups with Dimarzios, but I've got a few questions:

- Can anybody recommend Evos over PAF Pros or vice versa?
- Do I need F-spaced pickups over the normal ones (since I'm using a ZR tremolo)

Thanks

You'll need F-Spaced pickups (well, you dont need them, but its recommended because it looks better)
As for the pickups, it really depends what you want. Evo's are pretty hot, and can be too harsh for some peoples tastes. The PAF Pro is more of a rock pickup, I don't really like it in the neck position, its a bit too muddy for me.
What sort of tone do you want? What do you play?

Mainly Satriani/Gilbert style songs (more on the Extremist side of things from Satch), I'm looking for that sort of tone from my Ibanez anyway.

I'd probably go for the PAF Pro's then, or a Tone Zone/FRED in the bridge and PAF Pro/PAF Joe in the neck.
