Hey guys, I just joined my physics class late and didn't really get much info. (although i think the other students got about the same).. and was just wondering..

with regards to work done = force x distance if the distance is towards the earth would the distance then be negative or 0, it doesn't seem to make sense that work is done when really you don't do anything and just fall.

I'm not putting the question up as i'll probably get told to 'do my own homework'.

There's a thread for questions on this, just search physics thread and you should get it
