Yeah, I'm looking for a white and gold V, regardless of price.

(Base white with gold hardware would be cool)
Requires a Floyd Rose + 24 Frets + Decently cool inlays

Any ideas? Links?

Jackson RR...5? I know one of their RR V's has 24 frets, I know one has white/gold, and I'm pretty sure most/all have Floyd Roses. Not a big fan of them personally, though.

If price doesn't matter, why don't you just go custom?

This.

The only two I can think of are the Dean Rick Emmett sig, or the Jackson RR1 or something like that.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"

Umm..... Jackson RR24? That's all I can think of. How about just getting a white V, and then adding some gold there? That broadens your pool of guitars by like 23823843984 times

Dean 79 in Classic white, not much gold to add either, the string through 'V-plate' is something u could get routed from a metal shop.

The RR24 is white with black bevels.

Since price is no object, why don't you just find a white V you like, and then get gold hardware from GFS or something?

Putting money in a '79 series Dean isn't something I'd recommend.

Your best bet would be the Jackson RR24 if you can deal with the single pickup configuration.

You could check out a Dean Razorback V (It might be 22 frets) or the ESP line of Vs as well (NV, SV & V).

IF you have enough money, you might as well get one done for you

Yea, I'm with the people saying Custom shop on this one, Jackson has some pretty sweet guitars, if price is no object of course
#13
Definitely custom shop, Seth. Get ESP to build you one
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

I remember doing an ESP build for an EX-style, and I went a little overboard, but it started at $6,400. I'd rather buy 5 used Ford Escorts and have an impromptu demolition derby with friends than spend it on one guitar.

I say if you're going custom, then it's pretty much obligatory to go overboard. If you're getting a custom guitar, then what the hell exactly is the point in getting standard features? That's why I hate when people have custom guitar NGDs, and then the guitar turns out to have nothing special on it at all. It's like, what was the point of that?

It is expensive as shit, but that's kind of something you should be prepared for before deciding to go the custom route for sure.

Exactly. If I want a standard guitar, I'll get a standard guitar and save myself $5500. If I want a custom finish, I can get that done for a few hundred.

And still have enough for an Escort demolition derby.

actually if you go for a smaller luthier/custom shop, you could prolly get it for under $3000. look for one in your area
