Hey guys, I've been having trouble sleeping lately so tonight I've devised a foolproof plan to ensure I get to sleep. No, it does not involve chloroform or countless bottles of Vodka. I'm gunna watch a film before I go to bed, making my bed time a lot later than usual. I know, badass. Now, the question is, what film do I watch?! There's a poll on the way...

Watch Friday, that film makes me chuckle.

Edit: There was no poll when I posted this. Watch Seven Pounds.

If you're having trouble getting to sleep, just read A Tale of Two Cities.

Helps me every time.

I find heavy metal music makes me fall asleep easily. Probably because it's so boring.

If you're gonna stay up late watch a movie that's interesting, like the dark knight, shawshank redemption, evil dead series etc.

What kind of "Heavy Metal" are you listening to?!

I read a wiki on the Soloist, btw, and it sounds amazing! Watch that one, TS.

I actually enjoyed A Tale of Two Cities. But maybe I'm just one of the minorities here, seeing as I actually read. *shakes head and walks away*

It used to be that people were envious of those who read a lot.

I read a lot as well. You kind of have to when you're majoring in English. But alas, I digress; As Dickens was often paid per page, he developed a long, rambling writing style weighed down by unnecessary verbiage .

Pretty much. Bleak House is monstrous.

That said, unnecessary verbiage can be fun. Like when Pynchon does it.

I don't care what anyone says, Dickens is a great novelist.

Objective. William Faulkner is often noted as a "great novelist," but oh god, reading his stuff is like wading through quick sand, except, the thing is, the quick sand is made out of shit.

If you think that William Faulkner is "a fun read," then you live up to your user title

I don't; I consider him to be very challenging, but nevertheless worthwhile. I just enjoy his writing style, even though it often goes against everything the Chicago Manual of Style says. Most of my favorite writers tend to, with the notable exception of George Orwell.

True. I was just being sarcastic. Dickens was always...long-winded.

Edit: Wow, 70% of people voted for TS to watch pr0n, how thoroughly unsurprising! Anyway, what did TS decide? Which movie you watching, Leg End?
