hi guys

i am planning on putting an emg afterburner in my gretsch...
i only want to use it to increase the output of my tv classics.
the thing is... i heard it changes the output impedence.
can anyone tell me how to wire it up so it wont?

i have no experience at all with that but i dont see why they would make it to change to utput impedance of the guitar. amps are designed for high-impedance sources so these wouldnt work well.

maybe you misread or misheard.

to answer the question, prvided it actually does change the Zout there's no way to "wire it up" not to.

like i said, i may be wrong.

If I understand right from this schematic normal impedence would be 500k (input).
So mainly Afterburner lowers impedence to grant boost (lower impedence means better/louder signal).
