Hey guys.

My friend is looking for vocal monitor. We have to be able to hear him over drums and two guitars in our metal band and it can't cost too much, just enough to get the job done.

After doing some quick research, I figured that the Acoustasonic would be a pretty good choice, since it has individual eq'ing for vocal and acoustic guitar inputs as well as effects. Additionally, there's a pretty cheap one in our area on Kijiji.

The question is, will the Acoustasonic-30 (90 watts) be loud enough for our needs?

Also, if you have any alternative suggestions, let me hear em. Thanks!

Just buy the best PA/Mixer you can afford and with enough mics for everyone. Level and blast for everyone through that. Use your amp as a monitor.
