Title says it all.

In light of him currently being on TV and boring the hell out of me...and also just for being the most boring man in rock, my vote would have to go for Phil Collins. His music just makes me sigh and shake my head.

I have never in my life found music 'boring' to be honest. There's music that doesn't do anything to me, there's music that I find annoying, there's even music that makes me want to punch someone in the face, but nothing that bores me.

It's such a shame that he used to be a drummer for a really good band but now he's a singer for a shitty band.

Most of that quieter indie stuff that you hear on college radio stations.

inb4 closure

Trivium
Queens of the Stone Age

There's a lot of bands I don't like, but those two honestly force me to change to something else that has something going on it in.

This.

Also the music you get at clubs.

We are on the same wavelength.

While i'm at it; Dubstep is pretty cancerous, don't you think?

Anyone who makes bad ambient/trance/prog

Yep. Also Drone music is pretty boring unless I'm in a certain mood, like Sunn O))) (which I like in general, but they can be very boring if I'm not in the right mood).

Borgore, for example, is NOT cancerous. If anything, he's a genius. A lot of music you get in clubs is boring and repetitive, but you can't generalise like that. What about Infected Mushroom? You get them very frequently in clubs here, and they're awesome.

BTBAM and Dragonforce for me. Dragonforce just doesn't really interest me - The lyrics are like AC/DC, but with dragons instead of sex, myth instead of drugs, and carnageriffic medieval warfare instead of rock n' roll, the rhythms and chord voicings aren't that interesting or imaginative to me, and I'm not fond of Herman's style - and BTBAM to me just sounds like someone trying too hard to be experimental and progressive to the point of being dull.

Again, as many have said, ITT: Opinions run wild, and I'm sure I've offended fans of both above. It's a matter of taste. You like it, more power to you, but personally I'll take Kamelot for Power Metal, and Dream Theater and Queensryche for progressive metal.

Dance music.

They are usually extremely repetitive and the songs sound almost identical. There is little to no variety.
