I've currently got a number of effects being used in Logic Pro, for example, my phaser, delay, some reverb and chorus effects. However, having to go back over to my computer when I want to change a parameter is slightly irritating, so I was thinking of using some MIDI stuff to control this.

My plan is to get something like a Behringer FCB1010 for turning the effects on and off, and controlling Wah's etc with the footpedals and then something like a BCR2000 and assigning the control parameters (rate, depth etc.) to this. Is this a feasible way of doing things? If so, how would I go about setting it up? I would be using my M-Audio Fast Track Pro as the MIDI interface. Here's a link to the products as well:
