I have an a Strat copy (Alesis XGuitar), and want to replace all of the screws on the pickguard (including the ones for the pickup selector), because they are rusted, so I went to a hardware store (B&Q) and they didn't have the screws.

Does anyone know if the pickguard screws on Strat copies are normally the same as ones on a real Fender Strat, as I'm looking to buy them off ebay.

Thanks

As far as im aware they are pretty standard. You can get 100 screws for £8 off of http://www.axesrus.com/AXEBULK.htm if you want to buy in bulk.

Ok, thanks

Thanks, but I preferably need a shop that is UK based.

Axesrus, CH Guitars, WD Music, Allparts UK... These all do screws specifically for scratchplates, etc. You can usually buy up to a dozen screws for a couple of quid. Axesrus don't charge postage and CH Guitars is not bad on postage.
