Hey UG, I just plopped a Seymour Duncan Distortion in to my Alexi 600, and I'm having a little problem: It sounds thin, and twangy, like a high output single coil. I know it's a bright pickup, but it sound really thin and bright. I replaced it myself, so I'm getting the feelin I might have ****ed up somehow. What do you guys think it is? Thanks for the help :-)

Most likely you've mixed up the pickup colour coding. For Seymour Duncan, Black is hot, and green and bare are ground. The other two should be taped or wired to a push/pull. What diagram did you follow?
