Agreed,
childhood shows weren't so bad compared to today's dribble.
On playing the Paul Gilbert signature at the guitar store extensively, my missus sighed:
"Put it down now, It's like you love that guitar more than me!"
In Which I replied.
"Well it has got two F-Holes!"

R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Supplied amazing music to both me and my mother.

He will be missed.

The worst thing was probably the queen from snow white, bitch gave me nightmares for months after it.

And the newer kids tv shows are freaking horrible, the cartoons are beyond lame, now all they do is make teenagers look like goody two shoes, sooner or later the kids won't have ever heard of spongebob, power rangers and other stuff

I remember always crying when an episode of seasame street would end because I wanted to see more. And the first courage the cowardly dog episode scared so much I couldn't sleep.

But all these shows now are just random crap. Like Adventure time, chowder, that one pirate one that I so that I don't remember the name of. Even though the new spongebob episodes are shit.
May the Schwartz be with us! 2012

Q: OK, so do you care about the labels — nastiest, edgiest team in the NFL?

Jim Schwartz: It's better than the alternative — meekest, least aggressive, softest team in the NFL.

I must say thata my WORST memories must be from watching various cartoon network shows.

The Adams Family was incredibly disturbing and annoying.

and various Hannah Barbera cartoons.

Well, I was a kid in the fifties, when TVs still had tubes inside, there was no color, no remotes, and only a few channels.
Still, I watched all the old Westerns, Dragnet, Highway Patrol, Sea Hunt....

Bad stuff.... The Kate Smith show.... Big woman, big voice, dreadful sappy songs.
Also, if you think "soap operas" are bad now, you should have been around in the fifties.....

Teletubbies definitely the one for me
"You're a twat!"- That dude in morrisons

"You Ugly git!" - That girl in the restaurant

"You Were a Mistake!" - Mum

just a few of my fans..

People who complain about how shows these days aren't as good as they were need to watch an episode of Doug or Rugrats when they're adults. I'll give away the ending: We just thought they were awesome because we were five. I bought Batman the animated series a few months ago, and it was god awful. You guys probably don't remember how frequently Batman nabbed the villain by doing the same thing in every episode: Wearing a mask of some criminal and tricking the super villain. It's atrocious.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

Diana's death didn't piss me off because it took the kids TV off for a day, for me it's because football training got cancelled because of it. That could've been the day a scout from Chelsea saw my true potential, what a self-centred bitch that Diana was.

Dragnet for the win. Two most boring cops ever. Remember that episode with the hippie who had the hand grenade? He was on a ton of acid or something and thought he should pull the pin.
