Okay, so for a few days I'm going to be stuck with a Fender practice amp my friend lent me, and so I just wanted to get some opinions on how to EQ it.

I'm into the crunchy but not-too-trebley tones of guys like Adam Jones, Kurt Cobain and Devin Townsend. I know I won't get their tones without a 10 band + effects, but if I could get a three band approximation from you guys it would be sweet.

I know it's recommended around here to turn the mids up as high as possible, but if I do that the result tends to be an AC/DC-ish tone...

Little help?
