not sure what to categorize this under but hey.

about a year ago i set about youtube covers and recorded video and audio through my digital camera. i haven't made a video in a long while. i want to up my game and make my videos more professional. so backing track im covering - me playing the song and the video all merged into one instead of my playing and backing track coming though one crappy mic

any advice on what to do?
tips on how do this?
special software of equipment id need?

i got a mic and recording software..
cheers
analouge effects FTW!!

If you think Kurt Cobain was murdered put this in your sig.

make a track on the recording software for the backing track, and another one for your guitar. record your guitar from the mic into the recording software while listening to the backing track through headphones and recording the video seperately

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

This, you can go back and fix the tracks later.
