What are the pit's favorite epics? And epic is basically a story following around a main character on a quest as he whoops ass. My favorite is Lord of the Rings, the books, because I'm pretentious like that.

EDIT - Also, God of War.

This thing is my favourite epic because it's sweet for healing.

Right?

Winston is the farthest from wooping ass I have ever seen/read. Unless you're commenting on the Pit's obsession with that book. If that's the case, I applaud you sir.

And TS, my favorite epic's probably The Divine Comedy.

The Inferno was a great book, but it was mostly Daunte cowering in fear of Satan.

If by "whooping" you mean tapping, and by "ass" you mean Julia, then yes.

The Legend of Zelda.

On a serious note, I don't think I have a favourite literary epic. I don't think I've read any.

Does Moby Dick count?

How can you have read Moby-Dick, but not other books 0_0

Me having read Moby Dick =/= me not having read any other book.

And me asking if Moby Dick was an epic was a joke, I tried to convey that in the small font. I guess that failed.
I know its not an epic.

Lord of the Rings would have been so much better if it was written in the same style The Hobbit was. So, yeah, I guess I'm gonna have to go with The Hobbit.

As for video games, Final Fantasy X. I still haven't beaten the final boss, but that game's goddamn sweet.

It was good for the first few, but I got to the 7th or 9th book and got fed up with the length and repetitive story arcs. Just got lame reading 900 something pages of the same story 4 times.

OT probably the Divine Comedy. It's just genius.

Not sure if this can count as a epic considering its made for like middle schoolers but, I love the Guardians Of Ga'hoole series.
Also loved the Odyssey and Macbeth, I'm currently reading Beowulf for my English class, haven't read enough to form a opinion.
As far as video games, Conkers Bad Fur Day. xD
