Go out and buy an Epi Valve Jr 1x12 cab. I bought one to put under my champ. It really rounded out the sound, gave a bit more volume, and made effects sound much much better. And it's incredibly cheap. Like $120.
Gear:1991 Fender MIJ Jazz/Squier VM Fretless Jazz -> Pitchblack -> Way Huge Green Rhino -> Boss OC-2 -> Boss DD-7 -> Markbass Tube 800 -> SWR 4x12.

Flat wounds. Flat wounds on everything. Everything is a little fatter when it's flatter.

doesn't the champion 600 only have a 4 ohm output? the VJ cab is very nice for the money, but it's 16 ohms. It also possibly has a slightly too warm tone for really authentic fendery tones, though the impedance is the main problem there.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
