I'm hungry. I have a Japanese soup package that I need translated so I can consume the contents of said package.

Anyone able to help? I will post a picture as soon as someone is able to help me.

It is Mizkan brand soup and it comes in a little package. Almost like Lipton Cup-A-Soup bags.

Won't it just say "open packet, pour into cup, add boiling water, stir"?

You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door.
There is a small mailbox here.

Does this soup have some sort of anti-venom properties?

I'm struggling to grasp why it's so urgent.
#14
Whoa, that's Japanese?

I thought it was butter too, but I remember the person that gave it to me POSSIBLY saying that it was an EGG and not butter. Along with that, I don't know how long I have to cook it for?

Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir. If still harder than a rock put in microwave for another 5 minutes.

I hope you feed an African kid after complaining about not being able to read Japanese...actually I would complain to.

The pictures show its obvious. Simmer with 800ml of water and add butter if you want.

This. I don't think I can put it an easier than that.

If it's too blurry, I'll take another

It says:

Step 1: Pour boxes content and water into pot.
Step 2: Turn on fire with candlejack.
Step 3: Add s-

are you wondering whether to add egg or butter?

well, this is the character for egg: 卵 (tamago)
this is butter: バター (bataa)

Yeah, I think besides that the instructions are pretty clear, and I don't know a WORD of japanese.

That's an 800ml beaker, but if you look at the text it repeats 600ml a couple of times.

Although I'm not fluent in Japanese so I really have no idea what it's on about.
#29
At the bottom it says "only to be taken rectally"...

sorry man.

So last year, I put some potatoes in this jar and forgot about them. Today, I found them, and when I opened the jar, there is a puddle at the bottom and it smells like alcohol. If I drink this, do you think I will die, or have I made potato vodka?

just add egg AND butter, they both taste good and are going to be boiled anyway

Step 1: In a pot, mix with 800 ml (4 cups) of water.
Step 2: Stir well while simmering for two minutes.
Step 3: Add egg* and stir with chopsticks for 1 minute.

I believe that is more or less correct. I don't know all of the kanji there and it's pretty blurry, but I think it should be close.

Edit: I believe the bottom part also has instructions for making the soup with bacon, but the picture quality is too low for me to make the characters out.

Edit #2: Actually I think you're supposed to add egg and then stir it around, since although I can't actually see the character for egg anywhere on there, adding eggs and stirring it like that is a common thing in Japanese cuisine. However, if the soup came with a little packet of something else, like oil or sauce, you probably are supposed to add that.

Sorry jetfuel495, but it was a little more complex than that. It's not Maruchan or Mr. Noodles.

It's an ACTUAL soup. Not add-salty-flavoring-to-noodles-in-hot-water Ramen.

It was an egg. Thanks for the help everyone.

Kudasai

Used at the end of a sentence after a verb, anyway (usually). You can't really use it on its own.

Either way, I'd probably be able to figure out how to make this before learning any Japanese.
