Ok, obviously, being a musician isn't easy. But what I mean is this: Could the internet become even more useful to a indie musician?

Seriously, look at all the resources we have. It's not rare for a awesome indie song to get 20,000+ listens overnight just on YouTube alone (within 2 months!)...

But anyway, do you think the Internet could make it even easier for musicians to get exposure? Do you think anything special will be created/invented during these next 10 years?
#2
It could get easier if you can contact a lot of people who are interested in a short period of time.
If you can't, it's likely that your music will get lost in the mass of bands that are trying to get of the ground doing the same thing that you are trying to do...

Dumb question, it is like asking if Ice is cold, ofcourse internet is going to help the exposure of anything.

Define special.

The day it can get an advert for Stargazer being advocated by both remaining Beatles, Steve Vai, Eddie Kramer, and Eric Clapton so everyone who likes rock will want to pick up a copy shown on the Superbowl for free is the day I'm convinced it's done the most it can for me.

Special as in..."retarded"? Or special as in..."wow, that's cool"?

But seriously, of course, the net makes shit better.

How easy you gain success in the music business relies heavily on how willing you are to forfeit your dignity and self-respect.

Of course. That awful singer/ songwriter Adel only got noticed from Youtube. Tommy Emmanuel got massive recognition through Youtube. Just make sure you let the people know how they can get hold of your music on Youtube.

I don't know, could putting something in the microwave and turning it on make something warmer?

Learn the difference between "a" and "an".

Is it bad that when I saw this post my thought was more along the lines of, "'a' is for present tense -ar verbs referring to he or she and 'an' is for present tense -ar verbs reffering to they" than, "a is for nouns that start with consonants and an is for nouns that start with vowels"?

Maybe if I was promoted from Grammar Enforcer to Grammar Nazi I could help you, but I'm not assigned to that stuff.
