Was wondering what sort of things I should write about to ease into writing.
Was wondering what an easy way of starting out writing was because right now I have this mental block to writing I need to get past.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Start with something simple like a concept to work around maybe?

There's a writing exercise a teacher once told me to use to get over a writer's block:

Go outside with a pen and paper, find a comfortable place to sit, and just ramble about everything you see. Don't write about the tree in the park, write about the swaying green tree in the empty park in the middle of summer. Over-describe everything.

Write about the dog and what color it is and the shape of its ears and the sounds it makes and the speed at which it runs. This should help loosen the cobwebs and get you used to writing again. I hope it helps you as much as it helps me. Good luck.

wrong section. this should be under the techniques section. i suggest reading the rules and the other stickies for advice and tips, also using the search function. if you still need more help, repost this properly.
