ok so im looking for a new amp right now i have a marshel mg 50 fx (first amp ever) (dont give me crap bout it)

and this local guy is selling a peavy Vavle King half stack 100 watt for 550 USD OBO

wadda you think?
is it worth the money?
is i a long lasting, nice, versitile amp?

you should look at deals online and get an idea for whats a good deal for a valveking halfstack. i only have the cab and its very very nice and i paid 300 for it.

for all the 100 watt valve kings they were averaged around 900-950$

Are you giging? Do you really need 100 watts?

To be honest I'd recommend the Valve king as a first time tube amp but that would be the lowwer wattage ones. When it comes to the 100 watt, there's better amps out there for the price.

For $500 you could get a 5150 combo, which I'm not much of a fan of... but it will still rape the VK.
