i have two tracks synchronized or lined up with each other -- but they're both at 7 seconds or so. how can i move both tracks to 0 or 1 second simultaneously.

the time shift tool only moves one track as far as i can tell

To answer your question....

Hold shift and highlight the tracks you want to move, then move them.

Select right before the part you want to move in one track and go to "Generate" and select "Silence". Set the length you want it to move and hit enter. Do that for both tracks and make sure the length you put in is the same for both.
