Hey guys. I'm just gonna start off by saying that my lyric writing and songwriting skills aren't so good. TO call them questionable, would be a compliment.

That said, heres the thing. I'm in the army, and I wrote my own marching cadence, a slow anti-war one. It goes:

Sittin on the front porch
Just me and my baby
Listenin to the music
Played by the DJ on the radio

Mamas in the kitchen
Shes workin on dinner
For me and my baby
And the rest of the family

Thats when I got a letter in the mail
It read "Go to war, or go to jail"
I was sittin on the front porch
Just me and my baby
Listenin to the music
Played by the DJ on the radio

They sent me down to Fort Sill
Thats where they taught me how to kill
But all I really wanna do
Is sit on the fron porch
Just me and my baby
And listen to the music
Played by the DJ on the radio

Now I lay here on the ground
Theres bodies scattered all around
And as the world fades away
I think about my baby
listenin to the music
Played by the DJ on the radio

I wanna convert it into a song, but I'm gonna need a lot of help. Its in minor, but specifically which key, I don't know off the top off my head...
