I have a solid body, fixed saddle on my Schecter Omen 6. I have already done a few mods here and there on it, but I really want to put a whammy bar on it, but the saddle prevents me from doing so. Anyone out there have any ideas on what or how I could put one on this model? Any kit to buy or even just a crazy at home rigging?!

You'll have to fill in the old holes and route for a new one. I don't know about a kit, as the only parts are the bridge and some dowels or wood and glue. But I'm sure there are plenty of videos on youtube of how to change it out for whatever bridge you want.

The problem with doing this is that it may be a little tough on your finish, so you might have to refinish some or all of it if you want.

Unfortunately, that is what I was worried I'd have to do. Get rid of the old saddle and buy a whole trem-set up. Damn....Schecter should just blow me and start putting trem STOCK on all their guitars. *shaking fist*

Well thanks for the insight!
