I was checking out the website of one of the small locally owned music stores in my city last night, and found out that they offer a guitar building course, and you get to keep the guitar at the end. But the thing is, it's $2500. Now I'm not sure, since I've never really paid for a course before, but is that a good deal?

Here's a video for it if you want to know more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pp6uxo68RMM

Well, you have to think, parts alone for a guitar could cost you anywhere form $500 to $1000+ and he's also letting you use his tools, teaching you with his time, and this is over a period of 6 months to a year.

If you lack the equipment, have the money, and really are set on building a guitar, it's not a waste of money.
