I just listened to Layla by Derek & The Dominos... so beautiful, Pit.

What are some of your favorite Outro/ endings?
#2
Soap on a Rope by Chickenfoot. The outro is possibly the greatest guitar solo I've ever heard.
I'm rgrockr and I do not approve of this message.

Last 5 mins of Count of Tuscany by Dream Theater (20 minute song lol) - the part from the where the acoustic guitar starts. Just brilliant.

The warren of Snares - Fall of efrafa

the song is like 20 minutes long, so the last...6 or 5 minutes is a beautiful build up to a pounding beating, consisting of 2 power chords in the end with one of my favourite lines strenw over top: "cut away, like so much meat, we forge new scars against ill repute, we hold on tight to one another, I AM LEGION FOR WE ARE MANY"

I love how they take a line the devil uttered to jesus and turn it into one of the most inspiring, positive and uplifting lines I've ever heard.

also, this:

the opposite of the other song I listed: breakneck drums and tremelo picking with female vocals in the background. (7:38 and onwards)

So I just woke up sitting in my desk chair, with my bong on the desk in a bunch of little pieces and my hand super glued to my penis. Speculations as to what the hell just happened and how to unglue my hand from my member would be appreciated.

The end of Come Back by Foo Fighters, after the acoustic guitar comes in. The way he's singing "I will come back" as the song fades out is an awesome end to the song and album.

I'm going to be different: the first thirty seconds of White Walls.

And the intro to The Final Countdown.

Mingus's "Better Git in your soul" ends on one hell of an amazing chord.
And as far as intros, the last song I listened to with an intro that really stands out would be Manteca (Diz). Also, Stan Kenton's version of "Malaguena". My undying love to whoever has heard both all of them, especially the Kenton.
