What are some great soundtracks from movies which feature some killer metal tracks?

All I saw was Godflesh. I've never saw that movie. I need to now.

I don't even really like CC, and I love that, and always have. Even when I was 5 I was said, "This is awesome."

Disney's The Jungle Book soundtrack > any "metal" soundtrack.
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

Doom soundtrack is kinda metal. But it sucks... don't think I've seen any good movies with a good metal soundtrack.
Soundtracks doesn't get better than The 5th Element or Gladiator

Fo sho. Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance) alongside Hans Zimmer and Klaus Bedalt (Beijing Olympics) made one of the greatest things to grace music.

Apparently Twin Peaks has an amazing soundtrack as well

Dont bother with metal soundtracks, just get Angelo Badalamenti's work for David Lynch instead.

I want to try that while playing the opening riff to "Tempting Time".

My fave would be a movie made back in 1981 (or 1982) called Heavy Metal. It was cartoonish and was based on the magazine of the same name. It had several killer metal songs on it. One of these was Heavy Metal by Sammy Hagar. There were others, but I can't remember what they were now. From what I remember, the vinyl record for the film was rated very highly and was on the charts for a little while,

better than any metal soundtrack

Agreed. There is NOTHING more epic than the music in that movie. Especially the "battle of the mounds" song. Best movie soundtrack of all time, easily.

This again.

The Suspiria soundtrack is outstanding.

A few non-soundtracks that deserve a shout are The Wicker Man, 28 Days Later, Cannibal Holocaust and, of course, Blade Runner.

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.
