I want to experiment and plug my Line6 GX into my amp or cab.

What is pwr amp in? Is it a line in for the cab/amp?
Or should I send it to my effect loop in?

Those should all be line-in strength right, so they won't hurt my GX?

I did this once when I had a GX. Basically yeah, take a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to the GX's headphone out, then plug that into the amp's Poweramp In (also called FX Return on some amps). The Power amp in is basically a direct line to the amp's power amp, bypassing the preamp (and essentially making whatever you plug into that jack the preamp)
Epiphone Dot
DIY Esquire w/Neovin Power Rock pickup
Vox AC30VR 212
Arion MTE-1 (LED clipping diodes added)
Vox Tonelab LE
Roland SDE1000 delay

By high-gain I don't mean stupid stuff. I just mean styles like Motley Crue or Iron Maiden

Nice. I got a Peavey Bandit 112 TransTube.
It has both an effects return and a power amp in so I was wondering.
