i feel better about my writing than i can ever remember.

i hear snare drum marching-
through bells and horns and organs pumping-
amiina would you marry me?
if i looked more like my brother?
if i dressed more like my sister?
lalalala, ah lalalalala-
i fell off my roof when i was a child
trying to prove to my father i couldn't
fly-he knew i couldn't, so did i-i dropped
quickly and thought that in a movie there
would have been a pool below me-
i organized my books alphabetically later
that day as i had a broken arm and couldn't
do much else-i realized that all the books i
had started with an A-strange? not really-
A was my favorite letter-my name is matthew but
i told everyone the M was silent- Atthew James-
strange? not really-i ate a caterpillar in hopes i'd
grow a few extra legs-there was a creek on the
way to school that i could never jump across-
i'd always walk around and be late for class-
i thought a couple extra legs would help me clear it,
a year later i found out what bridges were and just
built one of them, problem solved-not really-the
creek flooded and washed away the bridge-
washed away the forest, washed away the sidewalks,
washed away the school, washed away my middle name-
that's when i first heard amiina, poking holes in the
sandbags by the palisades-someone had a record and it
played rugla, sogg, seoul, ect.-i had sex with a girl once,
it was not what i was taught to expect, but slightly better,
it only cost me a pack of cigarettes-her name was
amiina and she talked like this 'ahlala lala-lalala ahlala'.

havent listened to them yet. will do, then read this again
but for now
i like your thoughts. you've been on a roll. it sounds like you're really comfortable with life again and have room to explore and sit for a while and think words rather than just feel icky and force words out because you're too busy thinking of other things

it's funny, the weather is getting colder and somehow everyone (at least from what ive seen on here) is getting more comfortable. we're weird. maybe it'll change as the season progresses. btw, facebook creepin, your gf is sooo cute and silly and beautiful, i want to be her; dont worry about your writing in relation to her because she = more awesome than having your writing bite a bit

i have a cute thing planned out. i will enlighten you later.

also, i feel like i do my best writing in the end of summer until end of fall time period-its like you said about being comfortable and how i was telling you last night how i hate hot weather (maybe i mentioned that, who knows). i think fall allows me to think more clearly. maybe. rejuvenation or realization or something else that ends in ation.

d'awwww well i'm excited for you mister!

i dont think you did but it was implied, and it makes sense. there's something refreshing and invigorating (refreshation? invigoration?) about feeling a brisk wind on your face and seeing the world change a bit. i like all seasons though, especially summer, but i think my favorite is just the changes. plus you like hats and hats in heat are just... poop.

(poop!)

I really like, for some reason, how this jumps around so much. This piece is definitely not poopy at all. You captured all the feelings and silliness of childhood very well.
