Does anyone have Linux running on their iPod? I'm trying to install it on my 3rd generation iPod Classic, and it installs, but then stops working when all of the text comes down. Help?

How would that even work? The hardcoded software isn't designed to allow Linux...

I'm pretty sure you just shredded the hell out of your boot programming.

ipod linux sucks anyways. get rockbox if you want an alternate operating system on your ipod. Just use ipod wizard to restore the firmware and then put rockbox on afterwards
