I have no interest in the instrument itself but I saw one on line being sold for ~500 swiss francs (about 380 euros). My local guitar shop is selling a Ron Wood S1 for 1200 euros !

On the other had the one I saw for 450 is in relatively bad shape, so it's definitely worth less but still...

If you have no interest in the instrument, don't buy it. It's that simple. In my opinion, the worst thing you can do as a guitar player is buy a guitar you don't have any interest or attraction to.

The only reason I would consider buying it is to sell it and make a profit... but I'm really not that sure there's any demand for this guitar, even though it must be relatively rare. But if i could make a profit with it, then it would be some cash I could spend on an acoustic.

I guess the 1200 euros of the guitar shop are wishfull thinking though.

Edit: No I guess my post wasn't clear... Someone is selling his S1 for 380 euros in my area. On the other hand, my local guitar shop is selling another s1 for 1200 euros... So I was wondering if there was money to be made.
