Okay my tube's dead on my Vox AD30VT after 3/4 years service.

I finally got the f@*^er out and it's a 12AX7EH from Electro-harmonix.
I'm fine with replacing it, but where do I get these? the guitar stores in the UK dun say much online.
I'd go to glasgow to get some, anyone know a good UK store?

Also is it worthwhile trying something different?
There should be a FAQ on this!
On playing the Paul Gilbert signature at the guitar store extensively, my missus sighed:
"Put it down now, It's like you love that guitar more than me!"
In Which I replied.
"Well it has got two F-Holes!"

The important thing is to get another 12AX7, that's the tube you have. The EH just stands for Electro-Harmonix I'm pretty sure. Just google "Guitar Tubes 12AX7" and find someone that will ship them to you. And when you do get them, get a spare. That will keep you from having to worry about not having a replacement next time a tube fails.

Was your amp used because 3/4 year for a preamp tube like that is quite short...

But yea find a distributer that will ship to you. Try 12AX7 gold pins or some JJ's if you're looking to experiment.
