Well the foot switch didnt come with my 6505+ 112.

I've seen some review about peavey's Fs's and aparently they are crap.

Any suggestions as an alternate?
I just want to switch between lead + rhythm, not bothered about rhythm crunch.

Would a bos fs6 do?

budget like £50

How can a footswitch be crap? I've never heard of Peavey's footswitches not working...it should be fine.

Well, in California, people carry around devices that control the minds of bears. So expect to see people walking their bears.

Also, don't be surprised if some robot hookers try to solicit sex to you on the streets.

The footswitch that came with my 6505+ is great: great big metal box. Never had any problems with it

The plastic ones are total junk
I kept my valveking footswitch to use with my 6505. It worked when i used it with the 6505. It broke 2 times when I had my valveking and it is currently broken but this time i dont know how to fix it. But I'm interested in some compatible footswitches too.

... Call Peavey and tell them to give you what you ****ing paid for?

And how can you be looking for a different fs if you've never even used the one they should have given you in the first place?

If someone says different foot switches affect teh toanz I WILL call shenanigans.

Never said it effects tone.

Because i dont want to pay £66 for something that has bad review, when i can get something else for cheaper, thats better, eg BOSS FS6

I never said you said it does.

I was saying that it should have come with a footswitch in the first place.

But I just checked their website, and it never specifically says it comes with a footswitch.

Swindlers.

I like the tones using my Single Recto FS on my JSX than when using the JSX FS. The recto sound really comes through when using that footswitch which is awesome.

ANYWAY, the 6505+ footswitch is the same as my JSX footswitch. It is a beast, and it will not break. Also before you buy anything else check the footswitch input, Peavey has a proprietary 5 pin thing or something like that for their footswitches so you can't use any old 1/4" input.

Okay, number one, that's not the 6505 footswitch. The 6505 Footswitch is VERY solid. Number two, who gives a flying **** what the footswitch looks like? Is someone gonna come to your show and decide to leave because they spotted the guitar player's ugly footswitch?

it comes in pink if you want a pretty one.

well, you would have to paint it.

The POS plastic gets a bad review, and is £14

The massive metal one i showed you is £60, and gets good reviews, including one from me.

It doesnt break because it's metal , it's a box like 99% of footswitches, and it works.

What the **** more do you want

The metal ones make the tone moar scooped and br00t4l
I'm sure the switch isn't as crappy as it looks..and if it is, rehouse it in a metal box and it's problem solved
