so i was pondering the other day, would it be possible to go wireless with my Marshall two button foot switch for the MG100hdfx?
surely there would be a way to switch channels and effects on/off by transmitting and receiving an iR signal, just like a TV remote?
has anyone ever done this? or something similar?
and on a side note does anyone know of any circuit diagrams out there for a home made UHF wireless guitar system?
Thanks

people are gonna say dont waste your money on a crap amp.

i however, really wanna see it done, just think of the places you can go while changing the channel of your amp! bathrooms, kitchens, outside!

i love the idea of not having to take my amp around with me to satisfy my channel changing addiction.

Can't you just hook itup to a wireless sender/reciever like for a guitar?

Nah, you'd need some kind of relays, because the footswitch works by either connecting or grounding the tip/ring of the cable, unless it uses momentary switches.

this guys got a product that works great for me. called the foot loose. its great to be able to run around with a wireless rig but it suck when you have to go back to your footswitch. this thing solved that problem for me so I can rock wherever. clips right on to your strap and you put the reciever in the back of the amp. simple set up. he has one for pedal boards too, but I've never used it.
