Lols. I like how Megadeth isn't part of the recommended listening in thrash.

I like the color coding but you really need to take the genre names and give them a bigger font.

Are you talking about those weird sphincter-spasms where it feels like there's a ghost dick in your ass for a little while and then it just disappears?

Looks great, now!
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

Among the churchyard’s mouldering stones I recognise a name – my own.
I have come home to Arkham.

These don't sound like very good ambitions when driving...Judas Priest makes people want to go 200 mph, and Realm of Chaos is now an album for ramming shit. You are dangerous, dangerous people.

Now, can anyone rec me some evil DM a la Infester?

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.

Purtenance, Necrophobic, Asphyx (Mutilating Process+Embrace the Death), Necrovore
all evil as ****

EDIT: forgot to mention Immolation's first two albums+Incantation's first two

How about some extra depressing funeral doom.

disembowelment - Transcendence into the Peripheral

Not strictly funeral doom, but close enough.

Come to think of it, my penis should've listened to more death metal.

I've never found diSEMBOWELMENT to be depressing. More so just etherial and trancendental. One of the best albums ever though.

True, but I've never really found any music depressing so...

Brave Murder Day by Katatonia is pretty depressing, very Romanticist kind of sorrow filled vibe. But i know the unimaginative drumwork and bad drum production turns people off.Among many other aspects.

Why did you remove Swans from Industrial, anus ?
Cette nuit j'ai rêvé que je mâchais ses yeux
Après avoir crevé par accès de furie
Ta replète panse d'helminthes blancs nourrie,
Trop prompte à déféquer le fruit d'un vit sanieux.

Like you said the drumming is boring but aside from that it sounds pretty good. Thanks for the rec, I don't think I have heard them before (maybe once briefly but I am not sure).

Colosseum? I always jump at the chance to recommend them.

Any of their albums is good, but I especially recommend Chapter One: Delirium

Although I like BMD, Dance of December Souls is the pinnacle of Katatonia.

for funeral doom, you could try Mournful Congregation - The Monad of Creation

also Skepticism - Lead & Aether

Kerasphorus got me interested in Mr Helmkamp and comrades - any suggestions as to where go next with his projects?

Order from Chaos
Angelcorpse
Revenge

Kerasphorus is his best, to me.

Order from Chaos - Stillbirth Machine, Dawn Bringer
Angelcorpse - Exterminate (plus the others, I guess, I haven't listened to 'em much)
Revenge - Triumph. Genocide. Antichrist.

Not really an überfan of his projects, but I think his lyrics are genius.

Aye, thanks. I'll try and give them a thorough listen. I'll admit I'm still not entirely convinced that this stuff is down my alley, but it's interesting to listen to, to say the least...

Indeed it does. I was just wanting some lesser known (as if any funeral doom band is well known) funeral bands to check out.

Go with 'Hammer of Gods' for Angelcorpse...its better than Exterminate.

I want to try that while playing the opening riff to "Tempting Time".

God dammit Mag, I didn't even think it was funny before.

Eazy:
Innumerable Forms - Dark Worship
Fallen Christ - Infernale Majesty

Crazed Shredder:
Asunder - A Clarion Call
Also agreed with the Skepticism recs, however, give The Alloy a listen as well.

and for Angelcorpse, get both Exterminate and Hammer of Gods
