^That would probably be impossible to organize and make good sounding music with all of those members. It would just be a wall of noise. Good list nevertheless

Vocals- Robert Plant
Guitars- Jimmy Page
Bass, keyboards, Mandolin- John Paul Jones
Drums- John Bonham

Yeah- I guess Zeppelin is the greatest four musicians I can think of. I'd throw in Hendrix and make it an insane five piece, but that might not help.

Everyone who is posting Flea as a bassist with three rock stars:
Flea is fast and creative, but I have never heard a ****ing rock bassline out of him ever. JPJ easily slaughters him in every way. Just listen to the Lemon Song- Led zeppelin II
Peace.

Vocals (Singin): Maynard James Keenan
Vocals (screams): Kurt Cobain
Guitar (lead): Paul Gilbert
Guitar (rythm/lead): Zack Wylde(maybe Dave Mustaine)
Drums: Danny Carrey
Bass: Les Claypool

Reason: MJK can sing well and can scream very effectively but for higher pitches Cobain would be better. Paul Gilbert is an amazing guitarist and could easily play anything for a solo and diversify the chorus and rythm parts. Wylde as rythm because the riffs from Doomsday Jesus, Stillborn, and Aint Life Grand are awesome (and Mustaine would be a good second because Holy wars has one of the best riffs ever imo).
Danny Carey because of his very complicated and intense drum parts in Tool. And clayppol because A) Primus Sucks and B) he is one of the best and most original bassists. If i was making a death metal band thogh it would look like this

Vocals: Chris Barnes (Cannibal Corpse) & Shagrath (Dimmu Borgir)
Guitar (lead): Trey Azagthoth (Morbid Angel)
Guitar (Rythm): Jack Owen (Cannibal Corpse)
Drums: Hellhamer (Mayhem)
Bass: Tom Araya (Slayer)

Reason:
Vocals:Covers both ends of extreme metal singing (growl and scream)
Guitar: Both are amazing at riffs and solos but i prefer Jack Owens riffs
Drums: Hellhammer roolz
Bass: I love the bass lines from every slayer song
Admire me
Admire my home
Admire my son
He's my clone

fat people make a band even heavier!!!! LMAO

THIS IS GREAT

Vocals-Kurt Cobain
Bass and Vocals-Lemmy Kilmeister
Guitar-Zakk Wylde
2nd Guitar-Dimebag Darrell

I realize that having musicians from all these different genres may cause the band to sound like crap but who cares.

Liquid Tension Experiment---
Guitar-john petrucci
bass-tony levin (chapman stick)
drums-mike portnoy
keyboard-jordan rudess

This is as close as i can find in real life to a dream band and the best part of it is that it's w/o vocals. With artists like those guys, vocals sometimes would just get in the way.

now for a made-up band:
lead guitar-jimmy page
2nd lead guitar (they'd trade solos)-john petrucci
drums-neil peart
bass-john entwistle
vocals-stephen tyler
"Speak softly, and carry a big stick." - Theodore Roosevelt

and for all the Flea responses, he is a great bassist and is musicaly inclined

and he's also hilarious - like the interviews and stuff, drop dead funny

like even off interviews, one time right before the chorus on Can't Stop live, he started screaming the lyrics in a really high muffled voice - and it made me drop dead laughing, but it also sounded good

and Les Claypool is amazing as well, he's up there on the list of bassists

Geezer - amazing

there, my worthless post
