These don't sound like very good ambitions when driving...Judas Priest makes people want to go 200 mph, and Realm of Chaos is now an album for ramming shit. You are dangerous, dangerous people.

I figured there would be a thread on them already, weird. Anyway, great band! All I have is Seven Chalices but it blows me away. That guitar tone is killer

Yeah the guitar tone is really great! It's nice to actually be able to hear the guitar on "war" metal releases. At first I thought Seven Chalices was a bit on the boring side, but I gave it another listen tonight and I really like it!

Totally crushing and maniacal band, their stuff before Seven Chalices was great as well. The vocals stand out to me allot, the phraseing gives off a very deranged feel.

Acid probably makes you feel less like a hedonistic raver piece of trash, too.

So, Death came out the other week and it's a fuckering of the highest caliber. Unrelenting destruction. Don't wait on it. Go get it.

I like 7 Chalices, but I think this tops it. Has a bit of that Black Withcery vibe to it, by that I mean it's kind of the same as their last album and has lots of blast beats and crushing riffs. So, if you're into that sort of thing:

Go get this album.

This was recently given a generally positive review on DMU.

It's been a while since I've listened to this band. They never particularly struck me one way or another. Would anybody care to elaborate further as to what their best works are and what their strengths are artistically? I'm limited in my time and thus can't go back and simply check out all their stuff for myself at the moment.
