Hi Guys!
Forgive the intrusion, but we are an instrument shop based in sunny Stoke-On-Trent.
It was bought to our attention by our Dean rep that we have a few Dean guitars in that are becoming sought after and advised us to come here to let you all know!

So in at the moment are
1 discontinued Dean Slime ML & 1 discontinued Dean FBD ML, rrp at £999, we have them at £599 with a proper Dean Hardcase rrp £129.99 for free!

1 Dean Z79, the same Z79 sent around by Dean to be reviewed by guitar magazines. As a result it was fitted with £160 worth of Dean DMT Time Capsule and Baker act pickups. The guitar retailed at £499 (+ the cost of the pickups), but we have it at £399 with the upgraded pickups!

All the guitars have been set up and play/sound awesome!

For any more information dont hesitate to call us on 01782 212183 or email us at kaysmusic@hotmail.co.uk. opening hours 9.30 - 5.30 Mon Tue Wed Fri Sat

We also stock many brands of guitars/basses/FX and amplification including Dean, Fernandes, Burny, LAG, Luna, Freshman, Morley, Chord, Zoom, Line 6 and Kustom.

and then there's free jazz, which isn't even for musicians.

As my old guitar teacher once said: Metal really comes from classical music. The only difference is pinch harmonics, double bass, and lyrics about killing goats.

Its not an advert or link to another site as per the forum rules, so we thought it would be ok to let you know of a couple of rare Deans.

Its merely a way of saying we have a couple of rare deans left over, and there may be players here looking for them.

If it breaches the rules, then so be it, but it should state, no advertising of anything whatsoever at all....feel free to remove it, or we will upon request.

How is mentioning your company, part of your inventory, contact information and opening hours not advertising?
You've read it, you can't un-read it!

The first part seems like good solid info.

The last three paragraphs are blatant advertising.

tl;dr How does one safely remove the smell of a corpse from a banjo?

Would you run down past the fence?

Tell us, is the black box lying?

Maybe it would've been better in the Gear Ad's section with descriptions of each guitar individually with no mention of the fact you're a company... Just a thought

Ok here's the rules, cut and pasted...

NO ADVERTISING
- You may not post links to other sites with forums (in your posts/signature/user title/location/etc) or send private messages to other users which contain links to other sites with forums, unless those users have specifically asked for a link.
- This does not include linking to sites that are relevant to a particular discussion.

Neither of which we have done....

Wrong section, there's an ad one.

Also, get your own website. If you're lucky maybe 10 will come from this one, and then 9 of those will be under 14.

Edit For your information, this

is advertising. You are trying to sell me stuff I had no interest in when I started reading. The rest can (barely) pass off as pure information to the customer.

Yeah, it seems funny that there are actual musician/band advertising sections and even classifieds when people here are moaning about advertising..!! Maybe we're just guilty of posting in the wrong section. We'll go and flog ourselves to bleeding right now for our crimes....

You did post in the wrong section, no but's about that. The anti-advertisement rule may seem silly, but if the rule wasn't there this nice forum would be a lot more polluted. There is already too much advertisement out there. I don't want it when I'm trying to read about guitars. The only people bitching about what you did are either kids happy to make you miserable, or people tired of seeing the same shit.

If you just had taken the time to check what kinda forums this site offered people wouldn't be talking to you about this. So don't get excited.
