Hey all.

I typically post pop punk on here but recently I've been experimenting with genres and posted a really weird funky post hardcore pop indie jazz punk song in the forum too. Now that all sounds stupid so I figure I just make an indie song, kind of Phoenix / Vampire Weekend (Werewolf Holiday, get it?) inspired.

It's got synth, basic beats, bass, and some guitars up to the chorus but then when I hit there I wasn't sure if I was doing it right.

Tell me what you think!

I liked it quiet a bit. The piano gives it a really nice vibe to it. I also liked the guitar chords you used throughout the song, don't see those often at all. Everything in the song just fits together great. The only suggestion I have is maybe end the song with a whammy bend fade out on the guitar. Good work.

Two things:
1. The opening chords were awesome, and;
2. The bass riff from 11-14 was sweet.

Edit: Although in bar 13, maybe try going A F D F? I think it has a much stronger resolution.

I suggest you change the name of the piano to "FRESH," and the last electric guitar to "Dawg", it'll make it even better!

I really like this, especially bars 15-18. Great job so far.

Now you just need to make it into a full song
