Hi guys, this will be my first post in UG.

I'm planning to change the sustainer on my vertigo as it stopped working.
The guitar is mahogany set neck with rosewood/ebony fingerboard.
I'm thinking about EMG 91 || SD SH-1 (59) || SD SH-2 (Jazz)

Which one suits the best for jazz tone and crystal clear clean tone on neck position ?

For Jazz, I'd get either an EMG 81 or an EMG 60 in the neck, probably the 60. If you want to go passive, the Jazz is good (obviously, lol). I wouldn't recommend a 59 though. They can do it, but their forte lies elsewhere.

Just remember that if you get actives, you can't mix them with passives, so you'd need to have all passives or all actives.

The EMG 91 is a floating pickup so it mounts of the fretboard.

Try to get either Benedetto A6 or a B6 if can find them.
Damn it! Disable can't use disable to disable Disable's disable because disable's disable has already been disabled by Disable's disable!

Not true. You can mix actives and passives, it just requires a lot more wiring.
Kodiak bears make awesome bandmates.

Guess my safe bet will be EMG 60
Though I never heard it'll do jazz.
As for Benedetto, I can't find any here.

Then should i get the 60 (ceramic) or the 60A (alnico) ?
I never tried them and don't know how they sounds for jazz.
I heard that the 60 will be too bright for jazz.

^From what I've heard, the 60A is much better clean, so I think it'll suit you better than the ceramic version.
