SO lately i've heard that the Mesa dual rec has a tendency to have a loose bottom end and i've seen it described as "flubby".... I've tested out a couple different dual rec and i've noticed this. What can you do to tighten that up? Would an OD pedal work for that?

Set it to 'Bold' rectification and don't run the bass EQ too high.

Yeah just run a tubescreamer in front of it, that's what almost everyone does to improve that
