Well the title ses it all, does kirk hammett use live a mesa boogie triaxis?
I know James hetfield uses like 5 but does kirk?

He did for a while. They use dozens of amps though and not many of them last long.

I know though that James' ones are "heavily modified" to come closer to the MkIIC+ sound. And if you're looking for the Metallica sound, you're looking for James' tone. Unless you want the terrible (blatant opinion) Kirk live lead sound.
