01 Contact (8:09)
02 Terminal Skies (4:25)
03 A Grand Sentience 1: Machine (08:40)
04 A Grand Sentience 2: Mechanical Dreams (06:40)
05 A Grand Sentience 3: A Grand Tragedy (05:51)

In a short while I will be releasing an either free or cheap to purchase EP/Demo. The five songs featured are all being re-mixed/mastered and in some cases re-recorded. I have uploaded pretty much all these songs here and have really taken the feedback given out to heart and the songs are turning out quite excellently.

None of these have really been through any professional studio or anything, But I am fortunate enough to of had several mastering engineers with 20+ years experience individually assist me in the mix and mastering of these songs. The end product I believe is of quite high quality, especially for a first EP/Demo.

The term Progressive is thrown a lot around here I see, But in my case the Death Metal aspects come first, Prog secondary and only if applicable. I also am a huge fan of classic Heavy Metal (Maiden and Priest etc.) and these influences tend to show just as well.

A little background on the songs, the first two are individual stories (I write pretty much everything as a narrative of sorts, and usually with a heavy Sci-Fi/Science theme). Contact, is about the movie and book of the same name by the grand master himself, Carl Sagan. Terminal Skies is steampunk themed song influenced by the book Terminal World by Alastair Reynolds.

The last three as you can guess are all connected. The first two songs are essentially the same scenario's with different outcomes; Two individual machines created by the same scientist become self-aware. In part 1, the machine escapes with his creator to and begins to breed an army to usurp the human race. In part 2, the song describes the process of becoming self-aware and the attempted murder of the newly self-aware machine, who ultimately ends up taking his own life. Part 3, is an instrumental and is a musical refrain of the sorrow atmosphere outlining the previous two songs.

Hope this has grabbed some interest! You would do me a great favor by liking the facebook page and checking it on soundcloud!

Progressive Cosmic Death Metal

You only exist because we allow it,
And you will end because we demand it.
I listened to Contact and I'm also listening to Parallel Infinities (All the Parts), at part 2 now. Sounds awesome! I wish you the best of luck with this. I'm usually not big on Death Metal but this has a equal mix of these influences and you definiantly do a good job.

Really nice mixing on these tracks btw.

We'll set the world on fire
Fly with me through scorching skies
