Ok so i just bought the Ernie Ball Not Even Slinky Strings and I put it in drop A, sounded like crap....sooo if anybody is currently using these, what tuning are you in?

Stevie Ray Vaughan would play 13s and 14s in E flat.

Malcolm Young, Angus's brother, plays 14 gauge strings in E standard.

.70 is usually a bass string gauge, but drop A is almost in bass range itself.

Sometimes you can get heavier strings that are labeled 'jazz'...
