There's a guy near me who wants to sell a USA fender for 500 euros, but I can probably get it for 450. He has changed the pickups for seymour duncan hot rails.
The serial starts with z7+6 digits, any info on that?
So is this a good deal?

Whoa I dont think thats a american standard...........
The 70s style headstock and the not shiny finish lead me to think thats a Highway One (which still american made is NOT an American standard; cost less than a standard as well).

Well, it's not advertised as a American Standard is it?
Even if it's a used 2007 Highway 1, it is still a good deal. Not quite a steal though. Also, in 2006 there was a big update to the Highway 1's, so it's pretty much going to be the exact same (build-wise) as a new one. A final thing; the post-2006 H1's have a very soft finish, so there is probably a whole bunch of little dings and dents if it was used regularly.
Actually, I go by Dave, but there are already too many Daves on this forum.
