29 years have passed since the death of a figure who has influenced generations of mullet haired, pointy guitar players years after his passing. His death, like many artists that preceded him was untimely and unexpected.

On March 19, 1982 the world lost one of the nicest people in Rock N' Roll.

His name was Randy Rhoads.

A man who gave us everything he could to entertain us in what little time we were given to experience it. From classics like Mr.Crowley, Flying High Again and Crazy Train... His riffing and solo guitar will be revisited and remembered through fans and those of us that still pop Blizzard of Ozz in the CD player once in a while.

R.I.P. Randy Rhoads

EDIT:

Possible RR/Rhea Perlman love child?

If Bruck Dickinson had stayed he just would've killed Ozzy or something, those two did not get along.

I love how a thread in the Pit can go from a touching tribute to a fallen musician to an airbrushed picture that reads "I love horses." in about ten minutes.

What a punch in the gunt to dignity.

you all need new amps because James Hetfield is the best saxophone player ever.

He shreds some bluegrass banjo, and that's all I know about that.
