hey, so i dont know this song but your cover sounds pretty solid . i like your voice and it seemed like for the most part you were right on with the vocals. maybe a little off in some areas but again ive never even heard the original. the solo part was a little sloppy but im sure you can play it and just slipped up in there. the real problem seemed like you might have lost the time during it since you werent singing or strumming anymore so maybe try tapping your foot through those parts if you werent already? on more of a style note, your hands arent really visable in the video (plus the light in the back) so if anyone wanted to learn from this or just watch your hands at work it would be tough, but of course thats not really a big deal at all

There was some times where I'm pretty sure I was sharp on some of the vocals. And yeah lol the solo was sloppy, I wasn't really planning on doing it, but I felt like it was better than the bridge part that was right before that so I tried it anyway. And lol I know, my cameras lighting is so off its ridiculous. Thank you :]

It sounds good man. The vocals at time sound slightly off. Maybe try singing less through your nose? (I am by no means an expert) the majority of the time they sound great man. Solo is slightly off. All and all great stuff man! Keep it up.

You have a penchant for covering songs I've done! Hahahahahaha.

Your timing was off a lot in this one man. Every time you started singing your playing sped up. You were missing your entry and exit points with the vocals a lot. BUT, that's because you haven't practiced this song much. That's one of the first signs that someone doesn't really know the song they're covering.

That's my cover of it, did it a while back. Gonna have another stab at it.

Lol I've noticed we've done a lot of the same songs. I was surprised when you put the video of Rev Theory up. But yeah honestly, you're right. I really didn't know the song well enough to cover it, I just get really anxious on trying to complete it that I miss a lot of the little things so it doesn't sound near as good as it could.
I listened to yours. I liked it. Gud job. Let me know when you re-record it.

That was pretty sweet! As others have said, timing was off here and there. I can't sing for shit lol. I can't even play and talk at the same time. So to me this is great.

Practice practice practice! I don't think it's that hard to play and sing at the same time, but to keep time and do it accurately is the difficult part.

really good! awesome voice.. the tempo seemed to speed and slow sometimes from verse to pre-chorus.. make sure when you're breathing that your shoulders arent going up and down.. your stomach so should go out, you're shoulders should stay still, and you should support your voice with your stomach (you may already know this).. sounds nice though! keep it up

Thank you :] And yeah, it seems like I really have to force myself to do this when I'm singing. I mean obviously if it isn't a habit yet thats what I would have to do, but I really have gotten in the habit of making myself do it everytime. I really need to work on my breath support. And obviously the timing in this song was off quite a few times. But once again, thank you!

Hey,

Nice playing/singing dude. You already knew it sounded sloppy at some parts, so i don't have to point that out. What i would like to point out is that you doo have a good singing voice, but most of the time you sound too static (without feel). 2.28 to 2.35 is the feel you should hang on to. That sounded really good, but after that you started to sound static again.

My advice: Try to put that feeling from 2.28-2.35 from start to end in your songs !

Check out my covers too, mabye you have something to say about that too ??

Sorry it took a while to reply to everyone's C4C, but I believe I got them all. Thank you all for your comments. :]

What I got from this is obviously I need to work on timing and playing, but I feel that I've been getting that down better since I've last recorded this. Being more consistent with my vocals, not letting fatigue lessen my tone and putting more feeling into it ;] Once again thanks everyone.
