I'm looking for a guitar and an amp that can give me that chelsea grin and bmth(count your blessings) type sound, of course i know that they are different tunings. I've heard that the peavey 6505 head is a very good one and i'm looking into that one, but i want to make sure. Also i'm looking for a 6-string guitar that can give me those types of tones. They can't be really expensive and that's what hard. Any help? Btw if you want sound samples here are 2 links:

In the end, the only question is: what bass would Jesus play?

I think he's a Fender Jazz guy.

Peavey 6505 or just get the Peavey Vypyr, it's modeling of the 6505 sounds almost perfect along with it's other amp models. They have a SS and Tube version. Get an ESP or Schecter with EMG pickups in it.

Post something relevant or don't post at all. No need to be an asshole.

Back on topic as was said earlier 6505 is the king of chug chug sound. for your guitar look into getting a 7 string. or just buy heavy gauge strings (Don't forget to get it set up for them)
