For sale is a mint Carvin V3 head, with new JJ 6l6's just put in last month. Bought it to gig with, but college kind of killed any time to practice with my band let alone gig. A 100 watt half stack isn't very good for dorm living either haha. It sounds great and I really don't want to sell it but I need to downsize considerably.

$500 plus s/h takes it. Footswitch included.

Nah I think I'll pass on those, I don't really need/want anymore guitars. Thanks for the offer though

How about we trade and then you try to sell the guitars? I think more people are interested in buying guitars than amps.

I'll let you know about this next week just wish I could try it out before buying haha - youtube vids don't do this amp justice I don't think. And the effects loop has me totally confused.

I would do that but it takes more time and effort, and I'm a lazy guy haha. Not to mention money lost on shipping charges.

Ok cool, just let me know. And for the effects loops, there's actually 2 of them. One series loop and one parallel loop. Series loops make a purely wet signal (all the signal goes through the pedal) while parallel loops can blend dry and wet signals. The even cooler thing is that the channels remember which loops are on, so you can have a parallel loop going for the cleans on channel 1, no loop for crunch on channel 2, and a series loop going on channel 3. So if you switch from channel 1 to 3, it will turn off parallel loop and turn on the series loop. This makes it a breeze changing between channels and effects live.

So I went amp testing this weekend. I found the tone I want, and unfortunately I'll never know if the V3 is better! Really wish they had some in store to try out.

I'd totally buy this if I wasn't saving my money for a new laptop.
