Hi, my situation is i have a cort guitar with a strat style bridge and i like switching from E Standard tuning to D and drop c quite alot, if i was to set my guitar up for D tuning, then tune up to standard but put another spring onto the tremolo would that keep the guitar set up the same or atleast the bridge height?
do you still want to use the trem? if not, it might be better just to block it off. works for me
Hmm. I would've thought a strat style trem (one that goes down but not up) wouldn't have a problem with the lower string tension of the dropped tunings. If it's a knife-edge type (Floyd) though, I'm afraid there's no easy answer...other than more guitars.
how can i block the trem? i dont really use it
I now love you for linking that video lol
